Total Networking member makes 'inspired' donation to Marie Curie

July 2008:
Total Networking member, Inspired by Print has very kindly donated two Xerox Phaser 3500 printers, one to Marie Curie Cancer Care and one to Total Networking. Wil Chung comments that the printer will save time and money for Total Networking, both being very important when running a self funded group such as Total Networking.

Inspired by Print have a number of Xerox Phaser 3500 black & white printers (worth around £400) to give away to Total Networking members. Members must spend at least £250 with Inspired by Print in one project to be eligible. This could be, for example, the print and design of new letter heads and business cards. Printers are on a first come, first served basis and are of limited number. For more details, please contact Mike Waterfall on 01636 702597.

Total Networking member Neil treks to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro

Feb 2008:
Neil Buck, a self-employed HR Consultant t/a The Personnel Dept, has just trekked to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa. As well as succeeding in the tough personal challenge Neil raised over £3000 for the Lincoln based charity Christian Partners in Africa.

The money raised will be going to fund a more hygienic and sustainable toilet block for children orphaned by aids or malaria at St Paul’s Primary School in Rukungiri, Uganda.

Neil would like to thank everyone who has supported him and made generous donations to the charity.

Total Networking presents 'An evening with Edwina Currie' Thursday 28th February 2008

Thanks to our very own Judy Glossop of Marie Curie Cancer Care, we have been able to secure Edwina Currie as our special guest speaker at Total Networking this February.

Cost for TN members at this event is £15, Guests £30 (includes a £15 donation to Marie Curie Cancer Care). Please note that numbers are strictly limited and on a first come-first served basis. Pre-booking is essential and must be made by Monday 25th February.

As regular attendees know, Total Networking operate an open seating plan. However for this special event, the top table will be joined by Edwina Currie. There will be a number of seats available to join Edwina Currie at the table and will be auctioned in a sealed bid. If you would like to dine with Edwina please email wil@totalnetworking with the amount you would like to donate to Marie Curie Cancer Care. Wil will let you know before the event if you have succeeded in your bid. He will also contact you if you have been outbid in case you would like to raise your original donation.

Edwina will also be signing books purchased at the event with proceeds going to Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Total Networking members win Grantham Journal Business Award

Dec 2008:
Total Networking members 2health Limited have won the 2007 Grantham Journal 'Small Business of the Year' Award.

Carol Kingston of 2health was also runner up for Business Person of the Year.

Total Networking member and headteacher is "outstanding"

June 2007:
St Hugh's Mathematics and Computing College in Grantham has been graded as good by Ofsted inspectors – in every category bar one.... and the exception is Total Networking member and head teacher Trudy Brothwell, whom inspectors said was "outstanding".

Inspectors said standards at all key stages are improving, in the case of KS4 dramatically, with GCSE higher grades doubling.

The 2007 Lincolnshire Honda/LincsFM‘Marie Curie Auction'

May 2007:
Last year we raised £18,500 live on air, this year we are targeting £30,000 and we are asking you to support Marie Curie Cancer Care in their sterling efforts to support cancer sufferers and their families, in Lincolnshire.

EVERY SINGLE PENNY WE RAISE WILL BE SPENT IN LINCOLNSHIRE to provide high quality nursing care, totally free, to give people the choice of dying at home supported by their families.

The live auction will start on the LincsFM Breakfast Show on Thursday 5th July 2007, at 7am and will end at 7pm that evening. We will auction 3 items each hour through the day, which will raise the bulk of our £30,000 target. In addition we will be auctioning 100’s of smaller items on the ‘Hondacurie’ Auction site (linked to e-Bay), with the final bids closing at 6pm. This website is integral to the success and promotes the event prior to the live auction. Last year it received 90,000 hits on the day of the auction alone. Let your company be a part of this success and raise money for Marie Curie in the process.

On-Line Forum for Total Networking.

March 2007:
The Total Networking development Group is in the process of uploading and developing an on-line forum for members and guests, where you can log in and use an interactive bulletin board - posting questions and messages, and getting answers not only from the Dev Group but other members of Total Networking.
